About

PilaBarre

PilaBarre is a Shopify e-commerce brand with a growing catalog. A lean team that needed the operational backbone of a much larger company — connected systems, run for them — without building an internal ops department.

The Challenge

Disconnected systems, and no one to run them

PilaBarre's operation was spread across tools that didn't talk to each other. Shopify held the catalog and orders. Inventory, forecasting, product data, collections, and POs each sat in their own silo, with nothing keeping them in sync. Because nothing was connected, the team spent more time carrying data between systems and reconciling the numbers than actually acting on them.

But integration alone wouldn't have solved it. Even with everything connected, PilaBarre had no in-house ops capacity to run it day to day. A pure software handoff would have left a great system to drift the moment it shipped — connections breaking quietly, data going stale, nobody owning the upkeep.

What PilaBarre actually needed was both: systems that talk to each other, and a partner who stays in the loop to keep them running cleanly as the business changes week to week.

The Solution

We connected everything, then stayed to run it

Clouver built PilaBarre a centralized system in Retool and integrated it directly with Shopify, so data that used to be stranded in separate tools now flows into one place automatically. Inventory, forecasting, product master records, collections, and PO workflow all live in one connected layer — a change in any one area updates everywhere it's relevant, POs tie back to the exact SKUs they affect, and receiving updates stock in real time. No more carrying data by hand.

Then, instead of handing it over, we stayed embedded. Clouver runs PilaBarre's day-to-day operations directly inside the connected system we built, keeping the integrations healthy, the data clean, and the whole thing in sync as the business evolves. This isn't a tool that shipped and got walked away from; it's a managed service we own alongside the team. The people who built the connections are the people maintaining them, so context and standards never get lost in a handoff.

Before:

  • Shopify, inventory, forecasting, product, and POs all disconnected

  • Data moved by hand between systems

  • Numbers constantly out of sync

  • No internal capacity to run any of it long term

After:

  • One integrated system, synced with Shopify automatically

  • A single source of truth across the operation

  • Clouver embedded with the team, keeping the integrations running and ops moving day to day

  • No need for PilaBarre to hire an internal bench

The Results

Connected operations, run for them

PilaBarre now runs on one integrated system instead of a stack of disconnected tools, and the same partner who connected it all is the one keeping it in sync day in and day out. The data updates itself, it agrees with itself, and someone who understands the whole picture is always watching over it.

The advantage is in the combination. Integration gives PilaBarre a single source of truth; staying embedded means it never drifts. PilaBarre gets the connected operational depth of a company several times its size, without the headcount to build or maintain it — no broken syncs left unnoticed, no context lost to turnover, no system left to rot once the build was done. As PilaBarre scales, Clouver scales with it, keeping the operation connected and running as an active part of how the business works.
